The altar is positioned in the apsis towards the morning sun which shines through the transparent back-side of the altar and the perspex envelopes of the earth-books.

In front of the altar stands the seperated altar-desk. It ist made of a six-leged steelconstruktion with a glas plate. A PMMA cross (40 x 30 cm) stand on it, with six candlesticks and a biblestand in the same luminous material.
