It includes:
name of donor, place of origin and a short description of the
significance. After their arrival the samples a stored in the parish
hall in the earth-book-workshop.
The cylindrical backs of the ready-made empty books bear randomly chosen
marks with column, row and book number which defines their position in
the altar.

From November 1999 on, the earth samples were filled into the empty
earth books by volunteers from the parishes in Schneverdingen in and
temporasrily sealed. My appreciation and thanks to all oif them.
