The One-Earth-Altar of the One-Earth-Church transforms the abstract
perception of the entirety of the world into the individual experience
of every-day uniqueness. Earth from many places on the globe lets us
realize our the common dependence on this thins layer of weather-beaten
stone, from which life takes its nutrition and in which it leaves its
traces.
The earth, the soil on which we stand, is a synonym for our globe. It is
that part of it our ancestors worked with every day and which showed
God's blessing in the most direct way.
